Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, the Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources and the Minister of Indians Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to sections 82 Footnote * and 83 Footnote * , subsection 106(1) Footnote * and paragraph 106(3)(b) Footnote * of the Canada Labour Code, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations made under Part IV of the Canada Labour Code respecting occupational safety and health of employees employed on or in connection with exploration or drilling for or the production, conservation, processing or transportation of oil or gas in Canada lands, as defined in the Canada Oil and Gas Act , effective October 30, 1987.
