Whereas, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Act Footnote a , the Treasury Board has consulted the Minister of Labour and the Minister of National Defence concerning the application of that Act to the Canadian Forces; Return to footnote a S.C. 1995, c. 44 Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Treasury Board, and the Minister of Labour, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Act a , hereby specifies that the Canadian Forces are a portion of the public sector employing one hundred or more employees for the purpose of subsection 4(1) of that Act.
