Circular of the Ministry of Finance Concerning Stopping the Implementation of Relevant Documents on the Preferential Policies on Import
Taxation

The General Administration of Customs:

Upon the approval of the State Council, the preferential policies on import taxation prescribed in the following documents shall be
stopped from implementation from January 1, 2001:

1.

Circular Concerning the Printing and Distribution of Administration Measures for the Return of Import Tax over Self-used Materials
in Specific Areas [CaiYuZi [1996] No.70] promulgated by the Ministry of Finance, the People’s Bank of China, the State Commission
of Planning, the State Administration of Taxation and the General Administration of Customs on March 28, 1996;

2.

Circular Concerning the Printing and Distribution of the Provisional Measures for Returning the Value-added Tax over Equipments that
Can’t be Produced Domestically and are Imported for the Technological Reform Projects of State-owned Large-and Medium-Sized Enterprises
During the Ninth Five-year Plan [CaiShuiZi [1997] No.35] promulgated by the Ministry of Finance, the State Economic and Trade Commission,
the State Administration of Taxation and the General Administration of Customs on March 24, 1997;

3.

Circular Concerning the Return of Value-added Tax over Import Links of Imported Industrial Chemicals for Fishing Uses of Nansha Fishing
Industry after Collection [CaiShuiZi [1997] No.35] promulgated by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation
on June 30, 1998;

4.

Circular Concerning Exempting the Import Tax over the Import of Polyacrylamide of the Oil Fields in Henan in 2000 [CaiShui [2000]
No.87] promulgated by the Ministry of Finance on September 12, 2000.
