Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that it is in the public interest, is pleased hereby, on the recommendation of the Secretary of State and the Treasury Board and pursuant to section 17 Footnote * of the Financial Administration Act , to revoke Order in Council P.C. 1980-6/304 of 25th January, 1980 Footnote ** and to make the annexed Order respecting the remission of the fee in respect of an application for a certificate of citizenship by a citizen who has been invited by a club or organization to take part in a ceremony for the promotion of citizenship .
