His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, pursuant to subsections 34(2), 36(5), 37(3) and 38(9) and paragraphs 43(g.1) Footnote * and (g.2) * of the Fisheries Act , is pleased hereby to revoke the Pulp and Paper Effluent Regulations , C.R.C., c. 830, and to make the annexed Regulations prescribing certain deleterious substances related to the effluent from pulp and paper mills and off-site treatment facilities and authorizing the deposit of limited quantities of those deleterious substances in certain circumstances , in substitution therefor.
