To All To Whom these Presents shall come or whom the same may in any way concern, Greeting : MORRIS ROSENBERG Deputy Attorney General A Proclamation Whereas, by Order in Council P.C. 2001-1650 of September 20, 2001, the Governor in Council declared that, in accordance with Article XXX of the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, signed on June 27, 2001, the Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the fourth month after the date of the last notification between the parties of the completion of their respective requirements for the entry into force of the Agreement; Whereas that Order in Council was laid before Parliament on October 4, 2001; Whereas, before the twentieth sitting day after the Order had been laid before Parliament, no motion for the consideration of either House to the effect that the Order be revoked was filed with the Speaker of the appropriate House; Whereas, pursuant to subsection 42(2) of the Old Age Security Act , the Order came into force on the thirtieth sitting day after it had been laid before Parliament, being December 4, 2001; Whereas the completion of the requirements for the entry into force of the Agreement occurred on December 5, 2003; Whereas the Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the fourth month following the final day of the month in which the instruments of ratification are exchanged, being April 1, 2004; And whereas, by Order in Council P.C. 2004-235 of March 22, 2004, the Governor in Council directed that a proclamation do issue giving notice that the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and the Kingdom of the Netherlands shall enter into force on April 1, 2004; Now Know You that We, by and with the advice of Our Privy Council for Canada, do by this Our Proclamation give notice that the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, signed on June 27, 2001, a copy of which is annexed hereto, shall enter into force on April 1, 2004.
