Whereas, pursuant to subsection 74(4) of the Indian Act , the majority of the electors of the Eskasoni Band in the Province of Nova Scotia who were present and voted at a referendum have decided that the reserve of the band should for voting purposes consist of one electoral section instead of five, and the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development so recommends; Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to subsections 74(3) and (4) of the Indian Act , hereby makes the annexed Eskasoni Band Council Method of Election Regulations .
