Whereas, pursuant to subsection 28(2) of the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act a copy of the proposed Electricity and Gas Inspection Regulations , substantially in the form annexed hereto, was published in the Canada Gazette Part I on August 10, 1985 and a reasonable opportunity was thereby afforded to interested persons to make representations with respect thereto to the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs. Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs, pursuant to section 28 of the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act Footnote * , is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations relating to the inspection of electricity and gas meters and supplies , effective January 25, 1986.
