Whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that certain projects and classes of projects are likely to have significant adverse environmental effects; Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to paragraph 59(d) of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act Footnote * , is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations prescribing those projects and classes of projects for which a comprehensive study is required , effective on the day on which section 59 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act comes into force.
