To All to Whom these Presents shall come or whom the same may in anyway concern, Greeting : JOHN C. TAIT Deputy Attorney General A Proclamation Whereas, pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 1993-121 of January 28, 1993, the Governor in Council declared that, in accordance with Article XXIII of the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and Antigua and Barbuda, signed at Ottawa on September 2, 1992, the Agreement shall enter into force in Canada on the first day of the fourth month following the month in which instruments of ratification are exchanged; And Whereas the said Order in Council was laid before Parliament on February 23, 1993; And Whereas, before the twentieth sitting day after the said Order in Council was laid before Parliament, no motion for the consideration of either House of Parliament to the effect that the said Order in Council be revoked was filed with the Speaker of the appropriate House pursuant to subsection 42(2) of the Old Age Security Act and, pursuant to that subsection, the said Order in Council came into force on the thirtieth sitting day after it was laid before Parliament, being April 21, 1993; And Whereas instruments of ratification were exchanged on September 15, 1993; And Whereas the said Agreement shall enter into force on January 1, 1994, being the first day of the fourth month following the month in which the instruments of ratification were exchanged; And Whereas, by Order in Council P.C. 1993-2122 of December 15, 1993, the Governor in Council directed that a proclamation do issue giving notice that the said Agreement is in force in Canada as of January 1, 1994; Now Know You that We, by and with the advice of Our Privy Council for Canada, do by this Our Proclamation give notice that the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and Antigua and Barbuda, signed at Ottawa on September 2, 1992, a copy of which is annexed hereto, is in force in Canada as of January 1, 1994. Of All Which Our Loving Subjects and all others whom these Presents may concern are hereby required to take notice and to govern themselves accordingly. In Testimony Whereof, We have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent and the Great Seal of Canada to be hereunto affixed.
